January 5th

Cherish the past, adorn the present, create for the future. (my calendar motto for today)

Remembering my granny Mason today, who died 5th January, 1979 (an amazing 33 years ago).

It's been a really busy day at work today since 12pm noon, virtually non stop all afternoon. Really pleased it's over as it's been the busiest day for months. The weather this morning didn't help either - fierce winds and driving rain. Not good. Biggest thing to report about today is that I've had the second bailiff visit for the outstanding council tax, which I was expecting as I haven't been able to pay the bill this current financial year as everything's been really tight financially, especially with having two house moves in 12 months.

But this is the last time these people will have to come and see me to collect money; the bills will be paid next year, the year afterwards, and for ever more. This is a tactical move on my part; I needed the extra money & time to get myself established in this house which was completely bare when I first moved in, July 1st last, with my baby daughter.

Onwards & upwards. Payday tomorrow - that's the pressure off me again for another month or so again. I've got to sort myself a PO box number out this pay day so I can start advertising the business, sending out flyers and so on. Here we go!
